What is International Women’s Day (IWD)?

A one-day online campaign to highlight the contributions of women.

This is the first year that the Bitcoin community will join IWD for “Bitcoin Women’s Day.”

The theme this year is “Make It Happen.”

Like #GivingTuesday, public and private sector partners like Google, the UN, and Care International come together on Twitter and Facebook, in blog posts and digital media to highlight women’s achievements.

Highlight women’s achievements in Bitcoin.

There are many smart forward thinking women in Bitcoin. Highlight their unique expertise in the Bitcoin ecosystem and encourage other women to learn more about Bitcoin during this massive, one-day global outreach and education campaign.

What can I do?

Join the Digital Currency Council (DCC), Bitcoin Foundation, BitPay, ChangeTip, Digital Currency Group, Digital Chamber of Commerce, and TwoBitIdiot by lending your brand’s support to the effort!
